BSNL 3G Data Card Now at Rs. 1600

In a bid to boost the 3G Wireless Broadband services, India’s National Telecom Backbone Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) today slashed the price of its plug-n-play 3G USB Devices (Teracom 3G Data Card) from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 1600 for its customer in all telecom circles except Maharastra & M.P.
With the price reduction now TERACOM’s Single Band (3.6 Mbps) 3G Data Card (Linktop LW272) will cost justRs. 1600 instead of Rs. 2500/2200. While Linktop / LW273 Tri Band (7.2 Mbps) 3G Data Card will be available for Rs. 2000. Apart from 3G Data Card price reduction, BSNL also revised sale price of CDMA EVDO data card from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 1499

BSNL 3G Data Card will enable anytime, anywhere instant High Speed wireless Internet connectivity across more than 800 cities in India with Speed up to 3.6 MBPS and 7.2 Mbps (depends on device) for laptops and other computing devices, thereby significantly benefiting business users, roamers and travelers.
The Data Card Price may be various in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh- Chattisgarh telecom circle due to VAT.The new 3G Data Card Price will be effective from 20th May 2011.
